Perineal Surgery System. The Perineal System provides the surgeon with options: options for post placement, options for ring size and options allowed by malleable blades. Either of two approaches can be used. A side rail-mounted post can utilize the Field Post, Vertical Extension Bar and Horizontal Flex Bar to reach through the thighs or the Field Post can be mounted on the drop segment of the OR Table and come up from below. The notches in the Perineal Ring allow the use of disposable hook retractors.
